HISTORY OF ANIMAL HOUSE FACILITY
The Animal House Facility of the Institute for Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was founded in 1972 as a research auxiliary unit for the maintenance, and when needed for the breeding of laboratory animals used in medical and biological studies.
ACTIVITIES
The Institute’s Animal House Facility is a research and auxiliary unit that serves to keep and breed laboratory animals used in medical and biological studies. The Animal House Facility provides the scientific Departments of the Institute with laboratory animals. Rats, mice, rabbits, and guinea pigs are available.
The staff consists of 3 animal care workers and a head of Animal House Facility:
