Employees of the Institute for Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine NAS of Ukraine Participated in the Symposium “Young Scientist: Motivation, Opportunities, Impact” at KhAI

On May 15, 2026, the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” (KhAI) hosted the symposium of the Council of Young Scientists under the Kharkiv Regional State (Military) Administration titled “Young Scientist: Motivation, Opportunities, Impact.” The event, held in a hybrid format, became an important platform for discussing the development of youth science in the region, supporting young researchers, and implementing scientific initiatives.

Employees of the Institute, Andriy Fomenko and Volodymyr Prokopyuk, took part in the symposium. Together with representatives of other universities and research institutions of Kharkiv, they exchanged experiences, presented achievements, and discussed the prospects for the development of science in the city.

The participants were welcomed by the Rector of KhAI Oleksiy Lytvynov, the Chief Specialist of the Department of Education and Science of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Nataliia Sukhorukova, and the Chairwoman of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Anastasiia Simakhova. Among the key presentations was the speech by Tetiana Koptyeva (Chairwoman of the Council of Young Scientists at H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University), who shared her experience in project participation, international cooperation, and academic mobility. At the end of the event, participants received certificates.

Such events contribute to strengthening the scientific community of Kharkiv, especially under current challenges, and highlight the importance of motivating young scientists for further research and innovation. The participation of representatives from the Institute for Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine underscores the institution’s active role in the regional scientific life.
