On May 4, 2026, employees of the Institute of Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine of the NAS of Ukraine, Volodymyr Prokopiuk and Gennadii Kovalov, held a seminar at the Institute of Scintillation Materials of the NAS of Ukraine on the topic: “Application of Nanomaterials for Low-Temperature Organ Storage and Cryosurgery: Prospects for Cooperation between IPC&C and ISMA”.
The prospects for further joint research and cooperation were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of using nanomaterials to improve the efficiency of long-term storage of biological tissues and organs.
